Dennis Bono Radio Show

Singer-Songwriter Sandy Kastel made an appearance last week on the Dennis Bono radio show in Las Vegas.  Kastel charmed Bono and his in-studio audience at Sam’s Town Hotel with a live performance of “Fever” the single from her CD This Time Around.   Kastel also chatted with fellow guest magician Hans Klok……Pamela Anderson was nowhere in sight.  Also in attendance was Lorraine Hunt-Bono, Bono’s wife and a former Lieutenant Governor of Nevada as well as the owner of the legendary Bootlegger Bistro. Corrie Sachs, Bono’s resident singer was also present.

Next stop for Sandy is a September 2nd performance at the Franklin Jazz Festival in Franklin, TN.

Kastel is a true “Nash-Vegas” resident with homes in both Las Vegas and Nashville where she recorded her recently released CD This Time Around (via Morada Distribution and 1-800-376-2700).  The album features her sparkling versions of standard classics originally recorded by such legends as Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, Ella Fitzgerald Wayne Newton, Peggy Lee, Johnny Mathis, Dinah Washington, Celine Dion and Judy Garland.

Kastel has been making waves across national radio and cyberspace with her smoky rendition of “Beyond The Sea” which lit up the FMQB Adult Contemporary radio Chart. The song recently hit #14 on the chart.  “Beyond The Sea” is the first single from Kastel’s debut album This Time Around.
