This album is a tribute to the legends of music who came into an oasis in the middle of the desert and created an image that has been drawing people from around the world ever since.

The songs of Legends Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin and Peggy Lee live on today because their songs are classics. With each generation we are introduced to the songs all over again as new recording artists bring with them a new interpretation.

I have always been drawn to the sounds of the big band and large orchestrations that I heard as a young girl while watching my father, Richard “Dick” Kastel, play tenor sax in the showrooms of Las Vegas for the Legends of Song.

It is for this reason that we gathered together a great group of musicians to recreate that feeling of “Old Vegas” with a “New Flair.” We hope you enjoy my renditions of these classics and share them with your loved ones.
