Sandy Welcomes Air Supply

Sandy Kastel with Air Supply
Welcome to Vegas: Silk & Satin recording artist Sandy Kastel provided a welcome on behalf of her hometown, Las Vegas, to legendary group Air Supply last Thursday at the beginning of their four night run at The Orleans. In keeping with the spirit of Las Vegas hospitality Kastel, a former Miss Nevada and Miss America talent winner, presented Air Supply's Russell Hitchcock andGraham Russell with a gift basket filled with goodies from local businesses including her new cd and signature wine glasses. A long time fan, Kastel brought along her favorite Air Supply album from 1981, which they autographed. Kastel was overheard discussing with the duo what goes into the making of a good love song.

In addition to their non-stop touring, Air Supply is promoting The Singer and The Song, the group's very first acoustic project andThe Future, Graham Russell's first solo album.

"Beyond The Sea" the debut single from Kastel's album This Time Around (set for release in June 2007) is currently #14 on the AC FMQB chart. The album can be ordered by calling 800-376-2700.
